HER STORY
Kiannara T Hazine is a talented designer destined to be heralded as a major force in the fashion industry.
Born and raised in London, Kiannara (aka. KTH) has been enthusiastic about fashion and has been surrounded and influenced by fashion since her early childhood. Born of two gifted creatives, her father was a bespoke tailor, excellent at his craft, whilst her mother made innovative and exciting use of a diverse range of fabrics and designs, creating clothes for her daughters as well as bed linen and curtains.
In her teenage years Kiannara started her own journey as a fashion designer. Her course in Ladies’ Fashion and Fabric Design led her to a spell in the fashion industry, where she learned many valuable lessons.
While her original designs are very much her own, her inspiration since her early years, has in part, been the original designs of fashion giants such as YSL, Chanel, Dior, and Calvin Klein, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, and Issey Miyake.
In seeking her own style Kiannara has also been influenced by her travels in Africa, the Caribbean and Europe, so that when, in 2019 she resurfaced on the fashion scene she had an approach that is uniquely hers. Her use of fabrics and decoration creates garments that can be. justly described as “fit for the street and for the red carpet”.

Kiannara’s Origin Story: The Thread That Refused to Break
“We’re not paying all that money for a hang pun nail. Who’s gonna wear that?”
That’s what my mother said when I was first accepted to the London College of Fashion. I remember standing next to my father him, a sharp, suited bespoke tailor and knowing deep in my soul that I was already a fashion designer.
Since I was five years old, I’ve felt it.
My style was my rebellion.
My fabric was my freedom.
Growing up, Daddy taught us the magic of shopping in preloved shops how to transform the overlooked into elegance. I started stitching my own clothes, blending old with new, creating outfits for myself and my sisters. My sister Carol would wear my pieces to clubs, and I’d feel the quiet pride of someone whose work had already begun to move people.
Even though I didn’t go to fashion school right away, I kept learning short courses, online lessons, hours and hours behind the machine.
But the real turning point came when I was working at Coopers & Lybrand in Farringdon. We had a moment at work that shook something in me. I remember thinking:
“If I died today and stood before God, and He asked me if I was happy, my answer would be no because I never went to fashion college.”
That truth cracked me open.
So I applied again to LCF. I was accepted again.
And this time, I didn’t let it pass me by.
I left my job. I walked into the classroom as the oldest student in the room. I became the big sister to the younger ones, helping them stay the course.
I was home.
The hum of sewing machines, the thrill of fabric sampling, the sacred mess of sketchbooks and swatches that became my temple. Fashion became not just what I do, but how I heal, how I speak, how I lead.
Today, I design to dress the most magnetic women in the world the ones who aren’t afraid to be seen in their full beauty.
Lingerie. See-through gowns. Pieces that reveal, not hide.
Not for the gaze of others, but as a devotion to the goddess within.
